The Peel Youth Services offer a broad range of services, programs, activities and workshops. Participants who attend range from the ages of conception to 60 years plus. Our young parent program supports young women when they are pregnant, therefore being assisted to connect with their unborn baby and foster a healthy and happy pregnancy.
The Peel Youth Creche accepted babies from the ages of 4 months to 5 years of age.
Eyes Wide Open project connects with young mothers as young as 12 or 13 years of age, and continues up to 25 years.
The Family Support Service connects with the families of young people aged from 11 years to 25 years.
Youth Workers and Mentors connect with young people 11 to 25 years.
Choyces program is for young women 12 to 19 years of age.
UTurn offers a range of programs for young men 11 to 19 years of age.
Secondary Service Delivery
Assist with work placements for students studying in technical colleges or universities.
Take on volunteers who are in need of reconnecting to the work force or need further stimulation in their lives.
Take those who have been allocated community hours through our Corrective Services court systems.
Members of the Peel Youth Services team are involved in many community networks, boards and alliances. These include; Pat Thomas House (Women’s Refuge), Peel Regional Youth Services Network, “Say No to Violence” Peel Alliance, Department of Training and Workforce Development Broker, Department of Education Advisory Panel member, the Peel Secure Housing and Employment Support Strategy, Get Connected Project with Disability Services, and Peel Early Years Group.
